When I play small games such as 12 players it's fine FPS is 75 Ping from 46-150. However, in the large 40 player games it drops to as low as 1 Ping from 80-180. In a 24 player game at idle the FPS was 75 and would drop to around 29.

Oh, and as far as how long i have had this issue, I went a year without playing. I remember game play issues, but from another post I read I'm a retard and did not know the difference from lag and FPS issues.

Well, hope you can help but if not that is ok ill just play smaller games

Ok thank you, I wish you the best of luck I know how it is. As far as the game crashing I installed the new scripts.dll 2.1.2 and my game would crash back to the rengaurd start up page. I just did a total uninstall and reinstall and evrything seems to be working fine. Sure wish it would work though I like the chat log, I don't have time to read while playing so it's fun to see what I missed. If a person could actually scroll the chat during the game that would be awsome. But thats neither here nor there.

I get 100 fps when I am idle. I have my resolution at 800*600 and my monitor refresh rate at 100 hertz. Whatever my monitor refresh rate is, that is what my fps is. The problem is in big games, when I'm in the middle of the action it drops to below 6.

You can't see above 65 hz so there is no reason to force your monitor to go that quickly. It you tell it slow down, then your video will have to do less work, and in theory a higher FPS.

Normal people, maybe. I can see above 75Hz. Very Happy

But yeah, the best way to claim your FPS is to lower the game's res.

I don't know about "seeing" at 65 hz, but I can definitely see a difference (eg, less hurt on my eyes and less flickery) at higher refresh rates.
