I have to get one of these...

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -- Theodore Roosevelt (1918)

"The danger to political dissent is acute where the Government attempts to act under so vague a concept as the power to protect "domestic security." Given the difficulty of defining the domestic security interest, the danger of abuse in acting to protect that interest becomes apparent. --U.S. Supreme Court decision (407 U.S. 297 (1972)

That's so stupid. If you don't want to watch the channel, how about NOT changing it to that channel?

cause = time

I can see the advertisement now:

"Why spend the time having to remember you don't like FOX, when you can spend money to have something else remember for you!"

This is now officially the stupidest invention ever. And yes, I would say the same thing if someone invented someone to block Air America from my radio.

I'm the bawss.

"...someone invented something* to block Air America from my radio." Razz

I agree, though. That's just pointless to block out a channel. You know you can just as easily call your cable company to block out that channel for you? Yes, let's all pay money to block out a channel you can: 1. not flip to, and 2. make a phone call to your television broadcast provider to block out the channel for probably nothing at all.

I know, of course one can just not watch FOX News. But that's not the point of the FOX Blocker.

http://www.foxblocker.com/

With every order placed, FOXBlocker.com will send an e-mail in your name to the TOP 10 advertisers at FOX News letting them know that yet another subscriber has opted out of FOX News. With a little luck and a lot of volume, we can shut the FOX up!

It's meant as a message to FOX and it's affiliates that you are willing to pay money to actively be removed from them. If enough people participate in this, then advertisers may be swayed.

And this device blocks a specific channel on your TV, not FOX, so you can block whatever you want with it. The channel is set at time of manufacture.

I just though everyone would be interested.

seriously now...

I'm pretty sure that the advertisers on Fox news, know that they are an openly, right leaning news organization... Meaning that they are already WELL aware that at least 150 million people in the country despise them, and will never watch.

As soon as more that that number are sold, they just might start rethinking where their advertisement dollars are going. But if that ever happens, it'll just be the inventor who is laughing at everyone, not the Dem's laughing at Fox.

I never said it would work.

Why would you purchase a Fox news blocker or come to think of it; any channel blocker, when you can simply remove it from your channel list?

Some people are the cream-of-the-crop ... IDIOTS!

Seen this before, and I said then don't put the channel on.

You bloody Americans with all your bloody channels...

I think Sky has about 900,000... before you all think I'm America bashing again, and yes I have Sky..

It's a great idea although the invention is totally pointless.

It only exists to show that Fox News is nothing but fluff.

Aircraftkiller a.k.a. ACK

Much like your arguments, I must say.

I've said this a thousand times. Trying to sound smart will not make your E-Penis any bigger.

Do you only post when you have something negative to say?

My E-Penis is 19 miles long, AND it's extendable\retractable at the same time. So I'm not too worried about it.

I post whenever I have something I feel like saying. Do you only post when you want to whine about your traumatizing experiences after being insulted by me?

Wait...you don't like Fox...so you're willing to PAY someone to block the channel, when you could have it done for free?

Here's a tip: save the $8.95, press the channel changer, and write your own letter- if you actually think anyone will care. Then go buy lunch with the $8.95. You'll feel better afterwards.
