Anyone know how to set up a forum onto a host? I read the instructions and they're way too complicated for me. Would someone be willing to make a step by step instruction..pamphlet if you have a few minutes? lol I would be amazed, and slightly turned on..

1. Create a new mysql database.
2. Upload all the files in the directory you want the forums (ie. /forum)
3. Open your browser and go to .../install/install.php
4. Enter the database name along with the database username and password (if any) and the rest of the form.
5. Press continue.
6. Finish up the installation
7. Delete the "install" and another folder...can't remember it, but it'll tell you on the finishing screen.

Its called "contrib" Very Happy

When people ask me "Plz" just because it's shorter than "Please" I feel perfectly justified to answer "No" because it's shorter then "Yes"

Yeah, that's it. I couldn't remember. I knew it was "con" but I kept thinking config, and I knew that wasn't right.

Ty, I have been able to afford $2/month, but it's also whether or not that there's a means for him to actually paying for it, or he just doesn't want to pay.
