Well, I suck at most games. Renegade is the easiest for a non-hardcore gamer like me to play. Nothing too complex and easy to learn. That's why I'm still here playing it and will be for a very long time.

I'm glad Renegade isn't dying. I've had this game for years but haven't played it online yet, and I'm glad to see so many people are online.
I say, keep the community going. It's a good game with a good engine, keep it going as long as it can!
I know of another game called Battlezone (made by Activision) that I made a really good mod for. It's a 6 year old game and it's online community is struggling, but still strong. Some games just wont die!

I have been playing C&C: Renegade since the month it has been released, and though I don't get to play much due to my poor internet connection, it is my one of my favorite games.
Command & Conquer is my favorite franchise. I own many C&C games and have played my friends' copy of older C&C titles. Man, they rock!
Despite little disappointment the rushed-out game fares, I never think Renegade is not good. Renegade is a decent game. I'm not saying it's the best game in the world, but it is one of them. Those people high up in the boardroom abandon it just b*cough*E*cough*cause they c*cough*A*cough*n't make profit of it.
It overwhelms me to see the community keep going, and mind you, I'll choose to play Renegade over Counter Strike anyday.
