Windows XP SP2 and not so graceful exit? [message #108686]

Is anyone else have trouble exiting Renegade after applying SP2? When I hit exit, the game just sits there. Eventually game2.exe (I use renguard) crashes and I click OK. Not really a big deal per se, but annoying.
