I don't know many people who have any respect for Reborn, but if you do, I honestly consider you to be a misguided fool. You have been for the length of time you've been on these forums, and the old ones. Even back to the time where you were part of that stupid "cow" clan.

So you think Darkblade is a misguided fool?

Quote:

This is one of the reasons why i respect reborn. They stick to their own ideas, instead of throwing all the best ideas from other mods into a big pile of gimmicks, just to make people play.

Have you ever heard of this?

"No one likes you. They're all too nice to say it to your face, but when you leave the room everyone says bad things about you. You will probably die alone."

That's what he is doing. The only reason he says that is to keep from getting banned.

*Sigh* Humour is not appreciated...

spoonyrat

I can understand saying "Reborn Sucks", but to produce... or buy... a t-shirt purely to convey that message is kinda sad

Creed3020

Wow, what disrespect.....

Madtone

This has gone way too far, you people should just take a step back and look at yourselfs, take a look at how immature and petty this is...all you guys are behaving is just lame.

Panther

I couldn't say I didn't expect something like this, but it is still sad to see you people act like such idiots...

What did I write in the first post?

Very interesting, let's read it again:

This is meant to be humorous. I haven't even touched Renegade or any of the mods for months. This was NOT meant to be serious. Do I have to write a legal disclaimer to explain that to you?

The reasons I didn't use the Reborn logo are:

1) The logo is probably copyrighted.
2) I wanted a simple logo.
3) I didn't want to cause an uproar.

I hope that answers all your questions and concerns. I was going to make a "Renalert Sucks" shirt also. However, it wouldn't be as humourous, as nobody says "Renalert Sucks." Also, when humour is repeated in vain, it becomes stale, dead, and boring. Many mainstream comics/cartoons are good examples of humour pushed past it's prime.

If you still want the original "Reborn Sucks" tshirt, hurry up and order some now. I'm going to replace the original with better shirts that have bigger text, and a little more humour. Smile

Is that towards MrBob, or is that sarcasm towards everyone bitching about something that was to be taken lightly?

Wow, everyone takes this so seriously. I took it as a funny joke like it was supposed to be, I wasn't actually serious when I said "OMG I WANT ONE." You guys can be very uptight sometimes. I thought it would be funny for there to be a "RenAlert sucks" T-shirt, also.

How about cheater bashing? Renegade is dead to me...

It's not dead until people stop playing the game and the community is no more. There are currently more than 25,000 thousand ranked players in Renegade right now. Does that sound dead to you?

Renegade is dead to him because of cheaters. That's all he's saying.

...And that's where RenGuard comes in.

I told you not to post this. Why? Because it makes you look like a moron.

You can't compliment a mod if you don't like it. They want feedback, they get feedback. So what if they don't like it? The truth is, the mod is not up to par. They aren't really trying all that hard to improve it. Since they lack the drive to make it better, nobody can really help them improve it.

Stop whining, I SAID several times that this was a JOKE. In fact in the new tshirt, there is a small apology to the Reborn team. So, again, STOP WHINING!

You know.. This all seems kinda strange to me. I've been completely outside of this argument up until this point. I happen to think RenAlert and Reborn are both pretty good mods, but isn't this just a little. childish? Not, the T-shirt, but the way everyone is reacting to it. Who care's, some people think Reborn sucks.. Oh well.. There is no need to fight back and forth endlessly insulting each other.

Maybe if you ignored all these remarks made by these people, they would stop making them. Fanning the flames will only make them act worse.
