We aren't far from our next internal beta test wich will be followed by a public release of the beta.
BUT we need some more characters. I need a talented character modeler that can unwrap his models.
( you should be able to model a charcter like Oxanna from tiberian sun. )

I think he was just going to convert Terrance to a Reborn map. I dont think its going to happen now though.
I Messed around with there ultimate conyon map and fixed all the terrain errors and alpha blended it.
Try a different forum such as BF1942 and such.

I highly recommend that everyone never listen to ACK's opinion on Reborn again. All he's trying to do is get the community to start hating. I mean, signing on the IRC channel that talks with RenAlert and introducing himself with the phrase, "Reborn Sucks." Is everyone else blind to the hate propaganda ACK is dishing out the community? As Mugatu from Zoolander so accurately states, "I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!" No matter what the Reborn team trots out, it's always "shit", and whenever they announce something, "Oh, I just know it's going to be terrible!" This isn't how communities work. This is how monarchies work, with one man dishing oujt opinions and everyone hearing and believing it, no matter how stupid or unbelievable. And last I checked, ACK hasn't been a moderator of these forums for a long while, and in my opinion that's a damn good thing!

Yeah I have. You told me once on IRC when I was playing RenAlert. And from what I've seen, it's been getting better and better, not worse and worse. But your response hasn't changed at all. This seemed like a pretty good time to share my personal history with Reborn. So this was a few months ago, like late February or so. AoD proposed that Renegade: A New Hope join Reborn at Deezire. I turned him down. But I have always been a big Tiberium Sun fan, so I offered my own talent, as well as that of a few of my staff mappers, such as Blazea58, DesolatorDan, and Icedog90, to make maps for his mod when we had the time. I showed him a few of our maps, which are pretty high quality, but not perfect or famous or anything. Out of the blue he asked me how I thought our maps compared to those of Aircraftkiller. I responded that ours were definitely worse, but that working together we could still put out a pretty good product. He expressed his opinion to me that Aircraftkiller's maps are terrible, and that if we considered our maps inferior to his, we had no business working for Reborn. Naturally I was pretty upset, because not only does everyone pretty much agree that ACK makes the best maps around, but also because, in comparison to Reborn's beta release maps, anything would seem nice. I said that I thought he was in no position to turn down mapping talent, given the terrible quality of his current maps. However, he was steadfast in his belief that our maps must be awful if we considered them worse than ACK's, and then he blocked me (AIM).
So in summary, I offered to give AoD something that Reborn needs desperately: quality maps, and he turned us down really because of my respect for ACK. Furthermore, I wasn't incredibly disatisfied with Reborn's first release, other than the sub-par texturing, nonexistant balancing, bad maps, and other various problems. Overall I was really excited to see a potentially successful Tiberium Sun mod for Renegade. But now Reborn seems like they're drifting - every new model they display is less and less like Tiberium Sun.
I find it hard to have much hope for a mod that has demonstrated almost surrealisticly massive deviation from their theme (TS), and refuses to adopt new leadership to replace the obviously inadept current leaders.

I don't know much about Angel of Dawn, but he/she sounds like sort of a foolio from what I've heard.

Actually, there are a lot of people who really don't enjoy ACK's maps. Personally, if someone offered to make maps for me, but they told me the maps weren't as good as ACK's, I'd tell them to get lost.
Different people have different tastes. I understand that some people like ACK's maps. But lots of people don't. And if AoD doesn't, and you told him yours are even worse, then that's a perfectly good reason to refuse your mapping help.
I would NEVER ask for (or accept) help from someone who told me they do shitty work.

It seems to me that people are equating Reborn with AoD.
Many people seem not to like AoD.
AoD is not Reborn, in the same way that Ack isn't Renalert.
Move on, people.

htmlgod, I don't dislike ACK's maps simply because they're made by him. I just don't enjoy them.
And I'm not the only person who thinks that.
All I'm saying is that ACK's maps are not universally liked, and if AoD doesn't like them, then why would he want maps that claim to be worse?
EDIT: Here's another example, to try to illustrate my point:
Most people would agree that RenAlert is the most successful Renegade mod. However, it is far from universally liked. Lots of people don't like RenAlert and choose not to play it.
Let's say "Bob" found a new mod, "ModX." He tells "Ted" to play the mod, but Ted wants to know what it's like before he tries it. Bob says, "well, it's not as good as RenAlert." Since Ted doesn't like RenAlert, he's not even remotely tempted to play ModX. Maybe he would like ModX if he tried it, but Bob advertised the mod in a way that made Ted think it would suck.

How is that relevant? I thought we were discussing Angel of Dawn...
Anyway, how can you know that for a fact? It's just as logical to say that you don't like Reborn solely because AoD doesn't like your maps.

Any help is welcome.
